Independent Bookstore Day has come and gone without a customer. I did get a rather soiled, mildly intoxicated, kookie-nut-head, Erle (pictured here) who, by his own count, has read ten books (“Flowers for Algernon”, “Siddhartha”, “The Greatest Salesman in the World” & “How to Make Friends and Influence People” amongst) who promised his marketing magic will have me singing “Happy Days Are Here Again.” Oh, well.
